Can you confirm the precise diameter for this hose is 5/16"?

As  I said earlier in this thread...

"If this is the return line from the fuel rail I used 3/16 as I stated in the prior post. The supply side (where the stock fuel filter is) is 5/16"

It's 5/16 supply and 3/16 return back at the tank also.

I refer specifically to this one that is breaking and is installed to the input of the airtex 8012s elecric fuel pump before the filter as shown. Asides from this i will need a list of each and every fuel hose for the complete 1972 240z. I am travelling to miami and would like to source locally.

 No need to go any farther than your local auto parts store. Measure each flexible hose you want to replace. Add the lengths and round up to the next foot. Cut the new hose to fit and replace any suspect clamps with new ones.

I need the full list of hoses. I could only manage to take pictures of some of them.

Nobody cares each length. You buy 10 foot for less then 10$ take one hose out cut the length put it in and done.

Seems like if these were inadvertently reversed it would cause all kinds of engine run problems.

A possibility of fuel starvation. The end of the return of the fuel rail is restricted so there is some back pressure on the supply side to the carbs. If the lines were reversed that back pressure won't be there to feed the carbs.
