Just want to update the thread. Back last week, 240zrubber parts owner told me to check back in a few days for a new lid for my ash tray. He mentioned that he would add it to his next batch. Well 3 days later, his website was updated and showing he had one left, that I snatched up. THAT is exceptional customer service, and I look forward to doing business with him again VERY soon.

My 72 has a metal slider? Realized after I did a search that you said yours was plastic? What year is yours?

I never updated this. I got m new ash tray cover in and it look for every bit as I can tell OEM perfect. I highly recommend this guy's outfit. Great customer service and great quality.
