That is helpful! Thank you

That looks like shipping charges for the gauges.  Small stuff.  Still very low though.

I just saw a show about how the postal service has contracts with various countries that limit shipping charges.  The guy on the show was owner of an American company and said that it would be cheaper for him to ship all of his inventory in one shipment to China in a container or two, then have it shipped to individual customers from there as they placed orders, because of the much cheaper individual order shipping costs.  He wrote a book about it, along the lines of why Chinese companies were killing his business.

Anyway, good luck.

Yup. That’s why stuff from overseas takes three months to get delivered in Canada. Canada Post has a pre-negotiated postal rate for countries like China and they get pennies on the dollar for postage. Therefore they take their sweet time to clear it in customs etc. Essentially last priority.

Resto mod.

You'll need a custom "dog bone" cross piece to fit those fins.  Plus the axles and other goodies.  It's a project.  What's the ratio?

Zed Head, you of all people should know I have all the supporting mods to support this swap... LOL

And I have a 3.9 ring and pinion waiting to go with this CLSD from an 88 300ZX TT. The stock 3.7 is just a little light for my 5 spd. The AZC is gonna love holding this up!

I think you might be better off to swap the carrier and LSD in to the 88 R200 housing, since the pinon gear depth is already set for the housing.  JMortensen says he often gets away with no reshimming when he swaps carriers, if I recall his past posts right.  Otherwise you have to get in to pinion bearing preload and crush bearings and all that, and might have to reset backlash, as I understand things.  But that's really just more fun.

Are you sure there's not a V8 hiding in your garage somewhere...

Sounds like fun putting it together. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I plan on using the powder coated housing that came with the 3.9 open diff and gears, so all I’ll be swapping is the lsd carrier. The pinion gear is already set to the housing in this case. I will also swap over the finned cover of course, because, bling! And I have the AZC moustache bar.

... and there’s no V8 in the garage...
But if I found a stray RB25DETT lying around.... I might be tempted!
