Need a breaker plate for my 77 280 distributor and can't seem to locate one. I'm seeing it's possible they are discontinued. Anyone have any luck or know where I can find one? MSA, Zcarsource don't have them either. Thanks.

Have you tryed Courtesy Nissan? If anyone can find parts, they are generally the best shot.

I am afraid this will only get worse. Your lucky your in the states, the Zeds were more popular there.

I picked up a battery yesterday. Mine finnally gave up after 10 years. I asked for a battery to suit a Datsun 280Z at the only aftermarket shop in our town and he said: Is that a Dacia? I thought he was joking, but he was serious, he had never heard of a datsun.....

Luckly I took the top support so I could search through his stock for the biggest one that would fit.

Thanks Bruce, I will keep that in mind. After I get the one from zKars I might send mine in that is defective.

Philbin is one of those unsung resources for the sport that everyone should have on file. They do a super job on distributors and I still don't understand how they can do all that thay do for the price they charge.
