My Datsun 240Z

The world seems to work at 70% and "good enough". These days it seems you have to do it yourself to get it done right.

Artisans, pride, and care are long gone..... except in a few isolated places.

So if you want balanced tires the first time you need to buy a machine or you have to settle for the 20th attempt.

A good friend had the same problem getting his suspension set.

The 240Z is heading to the painter tomorrow. I removed the bumpers and the headliner ( for sunroof removal ). The painter will remove all the windows/lights etc and replace all the rubber seals. ( all the seals are in the carton box in the rear of the 240z )

I also managed to buy an original 1971 owners manual from Ebay. The owner said the following: Nissan Motor Corp. reprinted these in 1997 for the Nissan Z-Store- to put in the glove box of the Restored 1970-72 240Z's. I was part of that program restoring Z's. I got these direct from Nissan Motor Corp. So these are NOS of Nissan's reprint.
