I know a few years ago he had a video of his orange Datsun 510. I remember him talking about it and how 5spd's were considered some what exotic back in the day.

My guess is that he could not get ahold of the car that he would want, like an original BRE or Bob Sharp race car; or some other collectible version.

We need to get someone with an awesome Z, preferably from the club, out there to show off a bit. Who do we know in the LA area with a nice Z?

Trust me. I am sure Jay knows all about Z cars. If he doesn't have one yet, he is probably just shopping for the right one.

I did get a thumbs up from him on the freeway a few weeks back when I was driving the Z back from Supercar Sunday. He tends to show up at the last Sunday of each month.

Man that dude has some cars!

My guess is he has several warehouses with project cars he has forgotten about.
