Phillip Island Classic 2015

 

Four members of the 240 and 260 Z Register of Western Australia took their Zds across the continent to Phillip Islland for the classic.  3 of us used a transporter and Phil drove his V8 powered Z.

Loving the videos, more grunt to handle that pesky Mustang?

Went back to Bathurst for 2016, Easter Motor Festival.  Had a few fuel supply issues but ended up getting in a few good laps.

This is the fourth time that I have towed the car across Australia from Perth to Bathurst, the track is that good that it is worth the 8000 km, four days each way trip.

Nice...I try and keep some distance on the vintage circuit but that red mist keeps fogging my brain.

Funny thing is a BMW driver tried the 'I own the track' thing with me too, we actually touched wheels when I was edging past him on the straight having caught up to him through the corners. Bloody cheeky Datsun drivers
