Hi everyone, I'm happy to finally be joining here and making a post after lurking about for quite some time. I own a 76 280z it's my first datsun but there will deffinately be more to follow, I am absolutely loving this thing so far! I will post some pics sooner or later when i get the time.

Welcome!

Did the Datsun Matsuri car show at the Knox mountain hill climb this year spark your Datsun mojo into action? Where did you find your new baby?

The show will back next year for sure, be sure to bring that Z! Let us know we can help with anything.

First off sorry for taking ages to reply on this thread and secondly my Z was actually at knox i showed up pretty late though so i didnt bother registering. I deffinately need to get out of bed a little earlier next year to head down. Here's one of her current state, I will be posting more if my computer starts working right and actually uploads stuff. post-27229-1415081922467_thumb.jpg

Nice car. Whats up with the side trim being mounted so low?

There is probably some sense in placing the strip that low if the car was a daily driver. Supermarket door bangers perhaps.

Thanks, they were probably door bangers like said above i'd like to remove them over the winter as well as fill the holes from the old bumper brackets and either mount early bumpers or just leave em off.

just one week after putting my car back together after painting this happend.

I know some say the big bumpers on my car are ugly, but the rear one saved my car.

That is why I like my big bumpers. Also that is the way it came, it's a 280 not a 240 "want a be".
