It's nice to see what they looked like at the dealership, when they were new.

I don't think Leno is into Datsuns at all. Seems like the only old Japanese cars he has are Hondas and Mazdas.

I don't think he will get the 80,000 15 to 20 grand is what it is worth.

Sure is a nice car.

Its an absolutely gorgeous car, but its probably worth about 20 or 25 in that condition. Problem is, its going to be another 30 or 40 years before the condition of the car and rarity outweighs the amount invested. They just aren't that desirable yet.

I would lay down the 21K he is asking if I had it. My very first Z was a 1982 2+2 and this car takes me back to those times. I believe he will get it. These cars are good for the highway and city. Tuned well with the 20 gallon gas tank you can get almost 500 miles on a full tank. Besides it would allow me to keep the miles off the nice 240. Wish me luck on the POWERBALL!

Correction ........he really hasn't asked for a minimum price. He seems to be waiting for the highest bidder. Total investment means nothing to me. Lets hear a rock bottom price!

If he really has $80K invested in it, he won't take 21 or even the 25 that Ted mentions unless he's just desparate. Less thatn 1/3 of his 'investment'? IMO, he'll be keeping this car.....for a long time.

Nice car but since when do you consider your storage fees & taxes as part of your investment. Sorry if I have $84K to burn I am buying a GTR.

Given that it is a dealer I think they may just have a ridiculous reserve and are testing the waters to see if they can establish a value for the car. We'll see how high the bidding goes.
