Posted January 4, 200322 yr comment_22115 My question is this How many of us are running a 240z with Beige (off-white) as the Interior Colour. I would particularly like to hear about HS30 right hookers. It will be interesting to see just how many these interiors are left in 240z,s as I think they maybe harder to source parts for now. So if you have a 240Z or Know of a 240z with the Beige interior fitted please respond with a post to let us Know. Thanks Steve with 73 110 Red/Beige :classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4109-interior-colours/ Share on other sites
January 4, 200322 yr comment_22131 Steve,I have a 74 260 which is orange/red, I believe the same colour as yours with off white/beige? interior. I didn't go much on it at first and thought I would convert to black interior (reminded me of the Mod Squad!!), but it has grown on me and I am now intending to get the seats recovered in as close to original colour as I can.GeoffSydney Z Club260.bmp Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4109-interior-colours/#findComment-22131 Share on other sites
January 4, 200322 yr Author comment_22134 Geoff, yes it definately looks like you have a good case of 110 Red with Beige interior. I must admit I thought exactly as you did, go to black. What changed my mind was driving my 71 with black interior then the 73 with beige only to find the beige interior was cooler ( no aircon) to travell in during the day so I decided to stick with Beige.Do you know of any one else in the club with Beige. It appears that these Beige interiors are just not around any more.Any one else got the Beige interior.Steve :classic: Moving to Newcastle area 09/10/03 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4109-interior-colours/#findComment-22134 Share on other sites

January 31, 200322 yr comment_25164 haha cheers I absolutely love this car, it's my second Z and it's shaping up to be everything I want it to be! Still a long way to go though! got plenty of photos in my gallery.. most of them are from awhile ago though, need to update with some more recent ones! there's a nicer pic of my interior in there as well.. showing my spiffy new steering wheel - hehehe Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4109-interior-colours/#findComment-25164 Share on other sites
February 2, 200322 yr Author comment_25327 aRCH-Z, I have to agree with Mike, your car has a magnificent interior. Are all your trim panels and vynil wraps original or have you re-worked them, particularly the doors and rear strut wraps. Also are you on the east coast? SYD/BRIS.I would love to see your cars interior first hand, sometime.CheersSteve:classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4109-interior-colours/#findComment-25327 Share on other sites
February 2, 200322 yr comment_25330 the dash has had a recap, but I can only speculate on the others as that is the condition i bought them in.. having owned a 100% original Z before though i think the struts may have been redone but the doors are original. The pics do them better justice then they deserve! hehe.. but yeah, they're pretty nice! im in melb btw! i've still got some bits to go on the interior.. so it isnt anywhere near finished.. i've ordered autometer pro comp oil pres/water temp gauges to finish the three main gauges, and a small sports comp fuel gauge to go on my steering column next to my HKS TT1 then i've got to get a boot made up for the gearstick out of tan vinyl or leather.. and to finish up i want to modify the center console where there headunit is and just below.. as when i bought mine it had a ton of buttons there that didnt do anything.. looks really messy.. want to clean it all up and make a small panel with labelled buttons across it, and then have a lid that folds down over it so it looks just flush and black and you cant see the buttons.. not sure if that made sense.. need waaay more sleep but if anybody is in the melb area i'd love to catch up, i've got a couple friends with zeds who love to cruise and we're always looking to expand on our little group! and if you want a nice interior i've got a full one for sale for a 240z! mint dash with original gauges, fusebox, heater controls, everything.. leather seats based on the stock items, door trims, floor carpet, door plastic and more! sorry.. bit of an ad there! hehehe Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4109-interior-colours/#findComment-25330 Share on other sites

February 2, 200322 yr Author comment_25336 ARCH-Z, both are mine that is a brand new 110 red paint job, but my interior is very sad compared to yours(my next project). Yes you are right there is a lot of activity in the Sydney region, but it is hard to be part of it from here.CheersSteve :classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4109-interior-colours/#findComment-25336 Share on other sites
