I am in the process of converting my 260 bumpers to the pulled in 72 style and have a few questions.

What bracket or mount goes on the outer ends?

Is there a filler that goes in between the grill and bumper?

Thanks in advance. I don't have an early car to use as reference and couldn't find anything in the archives.

Stock bumpers had a rubber strip toward the end of the bumpers, but they weren't end pieces. There is no filler.

As for reference pictures, try CarDomain.com.

Banzai Motorworks has the end mount insulators for your front and rear bumpers. If you get the front ones, the thick part is positioned to the body.

I just replaced my front bumper on my 73 a couple months ago let me know if you want some pictures.

I have a question that is somewhat related to Dean's. I'm all set on the front bumper; however, I purchased the end-mount rubber insulators from Banzai for the rear bumper on my '71, but I seemed to have misplaced the bolts that attach the rear bumper to the sides of the body. Does anyone know the correct size & length of these bolts?

Spring is here and it's time for me to get back on my project. Does anyone know the answer to the question on my last post to this thread? I need to find the right sized bolts that attached the rear bumper to the body of my '71 240Z.
