Barrett Jackson 300ZX Sale

Featured Replies

The BJ Auction in West Palm Beach, FL started on April 7th.

The only Z-car on the lot was a 1984 300ZX with advertised 12,404 miles.

It sold for 12,925 which includes the 10% buyers premium.

B.S. I was there. The car was NOT that nice. It had VERY average quailty paintwork and the body was wavy. It was a $6-$8K car at best!

Er, aren't average quality paint and wavy body panels exactly what you would expect to find on a true 27 year old all original car? If the paint was perfect, and it had no dents or dings, I would be suspicious that it wasn't really original.

For that money with 12K "actual" miles...at Barrett-Jackson, ABSOLUTELY NOT!

We have to remember that Barrett-Jackson is consistently not very Japanese-car-friendly.........

We watch the auctions quite frequently on Speed Channel; B-J seems to focus mostly on muscle

cars, but with a few antiques, hot rods, and high end Europeans thrown in for good measure....
