Yep, I'm actually in Albany too. There are a bunch of members in Portland, Salem and Eugene.

Lots of us Oregonians with early Zs. Oregon may have one of the higher concentrations per capita of anywhere in the country. I have nothing to back that up, but it certainly feels that way...

I was born in Portland but haven't lived there in years.

Me too. Not since 1965.

I was born and raised in shaky town 45 years but moved to smog free Portland area in '84.

hi mike this is rob here in albany. I'm having trouble with my idle it wants to race at about 2000-2500rpms once in a great while it will drop down to 800-900. I'm new to Zs so any tips would be cool

Your carbs need work....... ;) Sorry, just had to drop that in there.

Anyhow, you just missed the end of season Bar-B-Que and run up Mary's Peak 2 weeks ago.

You need to come by the shop on Turner Road and get aquainted with the gang. 4030 Turner Road shop L-5.

i'll have to do that. where are my carbs? under the fuel injectors?LOL didnt have it running till about a week ago better late than never

Fast idle that occasionally drops down to normal is usually either a problem in the BCDD system or a bad air regulator.
