I am talking about a picture of the door showing the outer latch parts and a picture of the body where the door latches to. I need to get together some parts and don't have my manuals to consult. Zs-ondabrain Posted December 14, 2009 Share #4 Posted December 14, 2009 (edited) No silver paint, just clean steel (Carburator cleaner/dip can) the rubber deteriated a long time ago. and any that was left, the cleaner took it off.There was enough grease on it to keep the metal somewhat protected and cleaned up real easy. It's all there on the door and catch of the body. The flash of the camera blinded it and you just can't see it.
