series 1 240z PDX craigslist

I've seen that one, or one with the same interior (highly unlikely), before. $2500 for a 95xx VIN car...not bad depending upon it's condition of course.

Is that the prototype for the interior they used later on the 810?

Anytime when a seller makes a statement like "Not a pile of crap" in the ad, you have to wonder a little bit about that person :ermm:

:sick: Ugh. Please someone do not post actual pic!:sick:

I agree, that interior is awful!

Sorry, I had to do it.

You know , that combo just screams something , like maybe an idea taken from the wall of an asylum and actually used in production. Would you picture yourself sitting in this and thinking ''Hey, I really enjoy the combo of puked butterscotch and diaper spinach ! '' Thanks Steve , really.

Forgot to thank Steve our poster.

I've seen that car for sale a few years ago. With an interior like that, you can't help but remember it. In fact... my friend who I helped buy his first Z told me that the interior also came in a checkered pattern. I tried to educate him on the interior colors, etc and finally we googled and this car came up and he says "see I told you". I just shook my head quietly.

The interior is an easy fix. If you take a look at the pic of the engine bay, there are definitely some rust issues. If this rust is indicative of the rest of the car, the $2,500.00 asking price is probably a little high, even for a Series I.

reminds me of my Grandma's 73 AMC Hornet that had Levi interior. Wonder if that would be worth anything now?
