Brian, Believe it or not, I got a new one from the Nissan dealership just 4 years ago for about $160... Check there first?

I thought it sounded a bit too good to be true for my situation Rob. I called my local dealership and evidently their computers only go back to 1982 for the catalog. At one point I thought I had read about a stockpile Nissan started at a warehouse in Wisconsin or somewhere and that they had sent the vast majority of Nissan America's older parts there. Anyone know anything about that?

You can still get new hoods from Nissan.

Call Courtesy Nissan for Datsun parts.
