Anybody else on here getting hit with this storm? I'm in Melbourne, south of the Space Center, and we have been hammered. We set a new rainfall record by tripling the old one! I can't even think about moving the Z out of the garage, since the water in the street would be over the roof. I might not be able to drive her for a month! It may take that long for the water to recede. Well, at least I have a day off. (at my expense) If you're in the E. Central Fla. area, stay dry!

South Florida here. We had Fay come through this way. It was pretty wet when it hit the keyes, but after that it was mostly just squally weather. We kind of dodged the bullet on that one.

George, I can only imagine how it is up there, I saw footage of St Lucie and that is bad, here in Palm Beach we got a lot of rain Monday night 10-12 inches, the pool overflowed, but the storm was moving quickly so it didn't sit for long as oppossed to what it is doing now up there. Good luck

I'm in Mt Dora... about 25 miles N of Orlando. It's been very quiet.

Storm damage from Sarasota...

George71z, my thoughts are with you, and I hope you (and the Z) are high enough to avoid damage. We recently booked a trio into Melbourne to visit the Space Center in December.... assuming things dry out by then.

Just got into town in Orlando and looks just like normal rain showers here for now. hope it stays that way.

Plenty of rain but no damage in West Palm Beach !!!!! 1971 240z tucked away in the garage while my 2008 truck and 2003 Sebring sit outside my wife hates that !!!!

Got some rain and wind here in Key West, but no real damage. Saw some palm fronds down. Kept the 73 in the garage.

Fay was originally projected to come up the West Coast of Florida.. and turn in at about the Tampa Bay area.... Of course that didn't happen, it very rarely does. Looks like Fay went all but completely around us here in Clearwater. Three days of clouds, very short rain showers blown by at most 30mph winds..

The truth is - The East Coast and Central Florida really need that type of storm and/or weather patterns - it helps prevent Forest Fires and refills the ground water table...

Of course no one needs 25" of rain in a 24 hour period!! Looks like you are going to get a bit more before this is past... Stay Dry..
