What car did this hubcap come on?

Featured Replies

I have never seen one of these before. What car originally came with them? That is a Datsun logo in the center. Thanks...

That is a '72 Z hubcap that has been stripped, and polished/re-chromed with an aftermarket sticker/emblem.

Will's got it. That's a stripped 72 hubcap. Don't know where the center cap came from. If you want to restore them, see Les at Classic Datsun for the correct paint.

I've never seen someone do that much work to a hubcap unless it was a restoration. Weird. Thanks guys.

Beleive you me they are a pain to restore. They really look odd when all the paint is removed, just tooooo much chrome. The amount of masking is unbeleivable, especially when you have 5 of them to do, gotta have a spare. I did mine a "little" different than stock, left the scallops (sp) chrome. They really look nice. Will post pics when they are on the car.

Doh! I guess if I would have looked past the sticker I would have recognized the hubcap.:stupid:
