Welcome Jason - It looks like you will be busy for a while to come. Lots of information can be found here to help you out. It's good to see some greenery from Ireland in your pics. Hey, I was just wondering if St. Patricks Day is as big a deal in Ireland as it is here? Good luck with your car.

Good luck on the car, try and save as much of the metal as possible because 2+2 body panels are very hard to come by.

Hi thanks for your comments,

Yeah Paddy's day is a very big deal over here, lot's of parade's and lot's of drink too LOL....

the only bit of rust seems to be on the bonnet, it has 2 new wings too, the floors were welded but welded very badly soo ill chop them out and replace them, any welding or fabricating to be done i can do myself.

thye engine has seen better day's, its an l26 with 240 carbs, dont know wether to rebuild the engine i have, or to replace it with an l28.......

parts for these cars are impossible to find in ireland, its the only one ive seen over here, although im sure they are afew more...

thanks,

Jay.

I've seen a lot worse to start with. You'll find plenty of info here. Do searches and plan on hours spent reading and deciphering.

She don't look too bad actually. A good starting point. Welcome to the site and have fun!

yeah body isn't too bad looks worse than it is, the car was originally blue but previous owner sprayed it mat black and never used primer so there are a few spots of surface rust...and engine needs sorting out too....

Wow, a UK N reg'd 260 2+2 on the emerald isle. Are you in NI or the republic?

This website has a wealth of information, but you should also make contact with the UK based zed club. http://www.zclub.net/

Being a little more local that the US you may find it a bit cheaper to procure parts and of course there could be a chance that there are other 260 2+2's in the UK. That would be advantage in fault finding if you need any help.

They are a happy bunch. Take time to check them out but take advantage of this sites forum database. Our Septic Tank friends got the majority of the S30 range remember.

Sounds like she followed the right guy home this time!

Welcome, Congratulations! and don't be a stranger!
