I'm using a pair of these magnaflow 2 1/2" inlet (3 1/2" overall) on my Mopar stroker. They are stainless with rolled ends. They might be too long for your use at 17 3/4". It would keep the fumes away from the car though.

to get the most HP out of that fart can, you have to put the type R decal on your Z.

Tube Technologies reproduces Mopar exhaust systems the 71-74 B-body slotted tips are well suited for the application, but very expensive.

While I like the rolled look, the slant cut with the center fins looks pretty sweet.
