Welcome to the club. Based on the occupation listed in your public profile I'm anxious to see the pictures.

Wow that is awesome. Everything all stock or did you do anything to it?

Just by the avatar, it looks like one sick z car.:devious:

I want to post some picts., cant figure our how. The car has had the front finders replaced 25 years ago and was repainted then as well. Replaced the seat covers 4 years ago, they just ripped at the seams. Everything else is stock.

You can upload pictures to your gallery but they have to be approved before anyone else can see them. You can also upload a picture as an attachment to any post. In both cases there are size limitations but I'm not clear on what those limits are. I always end up scaling pictures down to 1024x768.

Mike here are some of the picts that were taken about 2 years ago.

Michael,

Great looking 280Z! I can't believe you still have a set of Goodyear Eagle Gt's on your Z. That is too coool.

The tires are at least 15 years old, they are showing some cracking in the side wall. I want to get new wheels, want to go to 16 in. then I will get new tires.

Hi Michael,

Welcome to the group. That is a beautiful car you have. I love that color on a Z too.

Regards,

Chris

Michael,

I would save those wheels and tires for display purposes if you have the room. If not I am sure that someone in the Z car community would purchase them for a period correct display. One of our members in the No. Va. Z Car Club still has a set of Goodyear Eagle GT's on some original 280ZX wheels.

It's a shame that Goodyear hasn't made any arrangements with a compnay such as Coker to reproduce those tires as well as the old Eagle ST's.

Lovely car in the photos, and I'm sure the photos don't do it justice!

Regarding the tires, I just wish Goodyear would continue to produce the Eagle GT tires, I'd been using the GT II's for several years, and was really pissed when I found out they were NLA.
