240Z in movies

Featured Replies

There is a 260z or 240z in the movie "Bruce All Mighty" with Jim Carey but it gets crashed into a powerpoll only superfisial damage though he gets side tracked when he drops those wooden balls his women gave him

It's a '75 or '76 280Z 2+2.

As far as I remember, two or three robots from "Transformers" were based on 280Z's. I used to watch it as a kid - the police Z was the coolest one. ;-)

What do you mean "for the young guys" . I just turned 54 today and as long as my eyes continue to work I will never tire of T & A . :finger::finger:

I agree but us +50 need to keep our thoughts away from the -18 gals in the movie.

LOL

You see, when a horse smiles...its like when a Z smiles!

When a horse runs...its like when a Z runs!

And what has this got to do with cricket?

Yesterday i was watching Superman III .... (had nothing more exciting to do)and saw a red 280Z in one of the first scenes.....

just saw a commercial for nowwhat.com (insurance site) that features the stripped out shell of a Z. The car has a beuatiful dash, but the rest of it is missing.

Some good places to catch glimpes of Z's are the 80's TV shows. I've spotted several in the Knight Rider show, first season.

Just saw the original Gone in 60 Seconds and during the Mustang chase they drive by a Datsun office/factory building. It's right before they get to the Mazda dealership.

Was watching an old Perry Mason and when it ended Matlock came on (hate to admit that I didn't turn it right away, I am not that old) and I looked up and someone drove up in what looked like a 280Z (yellow or mustard gold), it was night and it looked like it had the bigger bumpers. Now I have to watch the whole episode to see if it shows up again. Episode called "The Nurse" from 1987.

Just rented Fast and the Furious 3, Tokyo Drift-no Z's were damaged in the making of that film, nor were any present. There were a couple of very nice Skylines (both old and new!) so that's ok. The rest of the movie wasn't, IMO.
