Is there a name for this??

Featured Replies

This panel here below the dash on the passenger side. My brother cracked mine in half while pulling his backpack out from under it and now owes me a new one. I need to know what its called so I can look for a new or used one to replace it. The parts car i've been getting stuff off of no longer has this thing.

Not real sure...I don't have one at all.

Tell your brother he owes me one too.

It's called the 'instrument panel under cover'.

I think i've got a replacement for you!

Actually, it's called 'ASSY-COVER-INSTRUMET-LOWER RH'. Part no. 68870-N4200. I only know that because when my car got stolen in 2001, the bastards broke it and I had to replace it.

Do you remember where you got yours?

I bought it at Empire Nissan in Ontario. I had to order it but it came in about a week.

Bill;

Take a look at the original pic, and you'll see that it only applies to the 260 and later dashes.

I have one that I pulled from another Z. One of the attachment holes are snapped, but something else could be set up in place. Pay for shipping, and it's yours.

I'll even take pics if you want.

Kick panels are on the sides of the foot area. That's just a standard term.

I have one from a 77 280Z that I pulled just yesterday. It is in like new condition! PM me if you want to get it cheap. Just make a decent offer and cover postage. I have a bunch of other bits from this car for sell too if anyone else is interested. The body is total rot but there are a lot of good salvagable pieces.
