hey guys, im new to the community. ive always loved Z's and i finally bought my first project. a few hundred for a frame. im going to be building it from the ground up. with stuff i buy new, and things i salvage from scrape yards. ill include pictures and welcome any help or advice. im mainly posting this so i stay enthusiastic about the painful build that is to come. it will be show worthy when im done tho. looking forward to talking to all of you guys. -
Hey guys. I know I haven't been on a awhile but its because I have been busy restoring my Z. I finally got all my body work and painting done but I've ran into a problem. I cant find any 10th anniversary wreath decals for my car. I was hoping some of you guys knew where i can find some, or if i can get a good picture of them with the dimensions. I think i could find someone that could make me some if i could just get a good picture and the dimensions. i will post pictures soon of the whole restore process. Thanks in advance. -
Sadly, I travel too much and cannot do this myself. My wife of 28 years learned to drive on this 78 1/2 280Z back in '78, making us the original owners. This car originated in Northern Ca and has been with us in S Fl since 1985. We have used it nonstop for many years, but it has been a third car that sees much less use the last 5-8 years. Lots of rust (DUH) but otherwise still great car! Can anyone recommend an honest, reliable, knowledgeable garage/restorer in my neck of the woods who won't want to finance several college educations on my back? I would love to bring it back to (almost) new condition, but I'm NOT looking to enter it in the Concourse D'Elegance! -
