Can anyone suggest prices
Hi, I'm about to offload a few of my parts I don't need but I have no idea what to sell them for, any suggestions: - 5 speed 240z gearbox - 4 speed 260z (I think) gearbox - 4 speed crash gearbox - Complete L24 engine all in bits, new seals, etc - 240 Break booster - Panels: Front fenders, crowl, front light units, front grill, 1/4 windows and trim, front bumper. Thanks

Acid bath
They drop your item in a bath of acid which dissolves any rust, they then remove it allow it to dry and apply a zinc phosphate to stop any surface rust before you paint it you can get individual parts acid dipped or the whole car, you will need to completely strip the item you intend to acid dip unless you don't want those parts anymore.

engine or turbo??
Torque 163 FT-Lbs @4,400 RPM Horsepower (SAE) 149 BHP @5,600 RPM 0-60 MPH 9.4 Sec Curb Weight 2875 Lbs probably eiser to swap a L28ET in than convert your L28E in to a turbo

Sorry Alfadog, didn't mean to start this topic again but were talking about the "big" v8's they must weight around the 500kg mark?
-
hmm
yeah, fine if all it is a drag car but I can't help thinking a heavy v8 in the front will screw up the handling
-
A blessing in disguise?
is that without having to get it certified or that's it full stop? Wonder what the cobra kit builders do, they must have either 350's or 427's in their kit's?
