  1. I saw these on Ebay and my jaw dropped. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WOW-Super-Rare-DATSUN-240Z-NOS-Black-DOOR-PANELS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ140721QQihZ017QQitemZ270080764011QQrdZ1 I'm not going to judge what they're worth as they are listed as NOS...but thats alot of money for door panels. Im glad I have a great set! Zak

Tell everyone where you are, and that might help you out alot. Zak
  3. My first body guy quoted me about 2 weeks for new floor pans and rockers...After 2 months I would drop in to do my OWN work while they still picked away at it. Good luck and keep dropping in. I was always 'just in the area' or just 'dropping by to say hi', I didnt want to annoy them just in case they opted to rush or cut corners. Once its there, you're sort of at their mercy on the timeline. Zak
  4. Whats that stuff covering the dash and console?? Looks like an old canvas backpack I had 20 years ago. Z
  5. Hey, I have a site for the junk-yard parts: http://www.car-part.com/ Zak
  6. Hey, looks great. What did you use to shine up the center console? Zak

Even though I knew it wasn't coming...I stared at the "Connecting to..." until it timed out. Over and over and over.... Glad you're back up!!
  8. I agree. To put up colors without a total certainty probably isn't a good idea. Its hard to say what a color is after 30 years, a respray, a 'slight' variation by brand etc. also. Any info or original colors I run across I will surely forward to you. I hope everyone else does the same. Zak
  9. Michael that would be really great. Zak

Maybe a reverse 'pimp my ride' where we all get to watch as they hack away to restore it to OEM. They could call the guy and say it was stolen, or send him out of town. I think we got a winner here for the pilot. Zak

I hope whoever buys it puts a video up on youtube of how they blew it up/shot it up/melted it/sawed it in half/crushed it, etc. Zak
  12. Great, I'm a big fan of the paint code gallery. If you get more than 2 examples will you post pics of them? Every pic looks different due to the lighting, etc. and I'd like to see more example. Zak
  13. I actually didnt pay for them. I worked on his website and fixed him up with some computers and a network and he comp'ed me the wheels and tires. He's a great guy (www.tirebutler.com) and I've been dealing with him for years. I expected a 'deal' on them but not a freebie. I guess I'm committed to finishing the website. There is only one actual Konig distributor in Canada and theyre on the East Coast. He ended up dealing with Konig USA direct to get a better deal I think, but it took quite awhile to get them up here. He picked the tires and told me they were a good choice given the size I told him, thats why I asked everyone if they had any clearance issues. Zak

My wife got me a car cover and a Datsun shirt for Christmas, and I just got the Konig wheels in today! Zak
  16. I finally got the Konig Rewinds I ordered! I got the 15x7, '0' offset in silver. The tires I got with them are 205/60r15 Michelin Pilot Exalto directionals. The back of each rim says 15x7JJ and ET 0. I dont want to bother putting them on now, as Im moving at the end of the month and I dont want to risk getting them scuffed or snowy. The guy said that these tires are a touch wider than most, but that they are good tires. My question is, does anyone know if these tires will be a problem as in they are too wide or anything? I went to the website and found this info: Section Width on Measuring Rim Width: 8.4 on 6 Overall Diameter: 24.5 I just thought I'd ask while I can still take them back and change them if I need to. It wasn't easy finding a local distributor, but Jack at TIREBUTLER in Toronto went out of his way getting them for me. Call him if you need Rewinds! Zak

I got a 73 heater panel in a box with a radio I ordered once, and I remember seeing them. Maybe they were a part that came only with the panel or harness. I may have packed it for the move, but if its still in the garage ill have a look today and see if they are there. Zak Zak

The stores are filled with them now. ToysRUs and Walmart have lots of them, but only the white with stripes. I got 2 for my son's stocking-stuffer. Gregg thanks for offering to pick some up for me. I hope everyone has a great Christmas if I dont get to tell you all later. Zak

  23. These are all great! Im workin on something...he may be lurking so i'll have to update after im done. I told him there was some really twisted ideas of revenge here but he doesnt seem phased so I'll assume its all 'game on'. Zak
  24. All very good, but Im going to have to restrict my social engineering to the workplace, and keep it down to a point where no damage is done, and no charges are laid. At the last station I worked at a guy had a nice old Chevelle he didnt want messed with. He drove around for a few days with this on. He still wont tell us what happened.
