It was a great show. I think people will have fond memories of this show for some time. I just got off the phone with Mrs. Yamaguchi. She called me with thanks for my help. I told her that what I did was so little compared to their labors and that everyone I've spoken to was so happy with the way the day the had and the cars they'd seen. She was really happy to hear that. During the show, they were so busy that they had very little opertunity to really see how things were going. After they had returned the rental equipment last night, they found that they were too tired to walk, too tired to even talk. I'm the one who ended up sunburned beyond recognition!

Keep the vapor stuff and the PCV, no harm in those. Getting a dizzy with a lower intial timming doesn't hurt and helps.

Carefull with that axe Eugene..... You are exempt from manditory annual inspection. Removing or defeating smog devices is still unlawfull and prohibts your car from operation. But...... 99 percent of the smog air pumps out there no longer work and actually hurts your cars performance which increases your pollution emmisions. So, That's where most start in their engine clean-up efforts.

Yes. "Sakura" means "Cherry Blossom" a significant japanese iconic image. They are truely Cherry blossom shaped, and were pink in color. However, It looks to me that they aren't keeping that color. Brouse through Japanese S30 web sites and you'll find photos of these wheels on Z cars. They are rare and much saught after there.

Your photo shows a Hitachi built "Round Top" 4 screw SU, concurent with your 1971 build date. A few moths later, it would have been fitted with the "3 screw" models.
