How bad are the cars hurt? You sould be able to pull engine and trans from the 82 and put it in one of the 240s. You would have to fix wiring and interior.I dont thing it wouldve hurt the body, unless it was under for a long time. I had a parts car that went swimming for a week and it was still in great shape. I would look at the pump first. Thats what is sounds like to me. the gurgling sound is probably the pump droping gas back in the tank. Of it could have alot of air in it. Bill
