  1. These pipes look rusty. I think if i hit them they would fall apart. For some reason, most of the new 280z headers start out for 1977 and new cars. Why is this?

Any of you guys gave these comp. Headers. Mine seem to be rubbing on the steering shaft
  3. Big price difference between the two companies.
  4. Are 240 floor pans the same as 280 pans? I only see 240 pans on zcar
  5. I need to jack up the rear of the car so that I can get under it and turn the wheels. So I have a 3 ton jack under the center support but where can I put the safety jack stands? The rockers and floor are weak and rotted. Are the a-arm pivot shaft strong enough to support the car without bending. I dont see another other place.
  6. I guess it looked strange because my inner fender is roached too. Do they make that panel for a 280Z?
  7. Those frame rails look open, C-shaped. Whats with that?
  8. Does anyone make a frame repair piece for this area. Mine is eaten away from the battery on the top of the frame, all the way to the firewall. Do not want to remove the whole frame rail.
  9. What is the exact group designation for a 280z. I have a group 24 battery but its tall and close to the fender. I would like the original battery holder to fit on the top.
  10. Do all 75' 280z's use the 8 1/2" booster?
  11. I agree. Bought the car cheap but.....was in boxes. Sucks
  12. #4 is not the radio bracket. There are 2 pieces. Smaller then door handle.
  13. Can you guys help me id some of these parts?
  14. Getting at the bolts is the issue
  15. Ok, removing the driveshaft is not as easy as it sounds. Whats the trick.
  16. I could rebuild part of the cowl but.....the critical part is where the wiper pivots are. That has to be perfect. I will try to find a wrecked car.
  17. I need the plenum structure under the vent cover that holds the wiper pivots. Anyone make that?
  18. Its the propeller shaft and your post shows its not repairable. Wonder what they did yo make it odd. Rockauto sells the ujoints but i doubt they fit.
  19. Every book of mine says you cant replace the u-joints on a 1975 280z. Rockauto sells them. Whats the deal?
