snot rocket is not what I think of when I hear "SR" and "Datsun" in the same sentence. I think of the Nissan SR20 which is a beefy 4 cylinder. -Ben p.s. The new nick name for my car is "blue flame." Try to figure it out. p.p.s. J/K about the nickname.

I have seen the car in person, and I thought it was quite nice. I talked with Curtis and he knew what he was talking about. However, I am very surprized that he is selling the car, especially with all of the JDM parts. If there are any specific questions you have about the car, I really cann't tell you, but if you want to talk about it more, pm me. I have some pictures that I took of the car. Take care, Ben

ron carter would be the man to talk to about BRE spoilers, but I don't think they made a 3-piece spoiler. The BRE spoiler was a copy of the early original Nissan decklid spoiler offered in Europe and optional in Japan. Here is a link to what most people buy. I hear that they are of really high quality. http://www.classicdatsun.com/new/240_glass.html looks like 165USD is what you are looking at. Good luck with the spoiler quest. -Ben

Hello everyone, I saw this Fairlady Z on ebay and I thought it looked really nice. It appears to be a ZL too. I don't prefer many of the add ons that were put on it, but it still looks like a really solid home market car. Unfortunately, I did not get to hear it running. These S800's sure were magnificent though. I did get to talk with the owner and he had some very interesting things to say. -
No VG30 here. This car has an original L18 with Su carbs. -

I voted profile as the Z is the most beautiful car to me. Everything said about performance, quality, hood swoop, roof line, etc. I agree fully with. I also have a passion with many of you here for learning the history of the car and the different variations and models throughout the years (70-78 please). -Ben:)

This car won best stock Datsun. It deserved it too. -
This was a really nice period correct Bluebird. There were a lot of Bluebirds at this show. I just wish there was at least one Fairlady Z. -
This car won best JDM. It was brought over in 89' and restored in 92'. The owner registered it for the road the day before the show. Talk about neglect. The sss in "1800sss" stands for "super sport sedan".

This was a really nice car. My Dad used to own an export model 85' RX-7 like this. He bought it brand new. I would have been 3. -
