  4. slightly OT but does anyone know how to get the glovebox open if the lock is stuck in the "locked" position? i locked it about 3 years ago and havent been able to unlock it since. i dont even know whats in there.

  8. well now it makes sence! I dont have a manual ill have to download it, Thanks Ben
  9. fair enough then, i have to say im somewhat concerned about the original tacho wirings ability to handle the 460 odd volts that the MSD puts out. Deus ex, i wouldnt be switching anything until you know exactly what combo you have there, who knows what your compression is now, let alone what it will be if you switch heads
  10. tell us more about the engine combo, this is where the real power lies. standard L28 crank? what Rods are you using? what diameter are those pistons? Pin height? has the head been shaved, ported? what head exactly is it? you said P40? are sure its not a P90? how big is the cam you have at the moment?
  11. No ones reacted to this, this is a joke right??
  12. Hi Ben, just put an MSD 6A into mine on the wekeend. how do you modify the tach to make it work??
  13. i have a set of pacemakers with a webber manifold and its fine, they arent ceramic coated, they arent tuned lenght but do the job.
  14. of course this is not always the case if your looking for HP, using a higher octane fuel means an engines threshold for knock is increased, allowing more ignition advance = more power, this is why you dont see hard tuned cars running low octane fuel. also in aus our 98 ron fuels actually give better fuel consumption in cars setup to use it. this type of fuel is denser than regular fuel so a car tuned to use it will use less of it, which offsets the extra cost.
  15. Hi kyteler, whats the website for speed star wheels? i have a set of them (not watanabe's) on mine and cant find the site. i need some centre caps for them. thanks, Brett

well if he honestly believes its 100 percent his fault then yeah, but thats about it. usually the guy will claim it wasnt his fault but thats racing. i had a huge loose at peak revs in third gear at oran park on sunday just after the bridge, came to a stop in the middle of a blind corner. thank god the flaggie was on the ball with the yellow flag or id be wearing the bonnet of an old V8 supercar who was 3 secs behind me and closing fast. sorry to hear Ash, how bads the shell?
