HI ther ya'll! What's the word? I just got another engine for my car. I was thinking of rebuilding it. It's an l24. I was thinking about putting in an l26 rotating assembly with an e31 head. Is this possible? Will the valves on the e31 hit the pistons? Has anyone ever tried this? I wonder what the compression ratio will be. I would figure try to figure it out, but i can't find the cc's of each head. Any ways, let me know what ya'll think.

Hi! I'm removing my cylinder head, but that darn thing won't come off. I got all the cylinder head bolts off, and even the two little ones at the front. I think the head gasket is acting as a bonding agent, and is holding the head to the block. Is there any tips for getting that damn head off? I was thinking of using a cherry picker. Is this a good idea, or will it warp the head if too much force is applied? Thanks, -Isaac

Is there anyone else out there who shares my affliction for the creamy concoction called peanut..... butter. It's like nothing else, completly unorthoodox taste, with a texture to match. Incredible.

try putting a zx distributor on it and a new 50,000 volt coil. Not an expensive upgrade if you have a salvage yard around you. Get the e12-80 type. It's very easy to install, and works great.

I walked in to my garage yesterday, about to go to work, and there was a little shitzu staring up at me with it's tale waggin like it knew I was going to give it something. This is not my dog. I don't own any dogs. This is not the first time this has happened either. Can anyone tell me why the dogs like me?!! It freaks me out when a random dog is wondering around my yard. I usually don't bother it, I just let it wonder. I've yet to encounter any dog poop, so I don't think they come to do that. I attached a pic of the dog that was in my garage. It wouldn't go home, so i'm going to hold onto it till the pound can do something on tuesday.

Hey ya'll! I just checked my sparkplugs and they are in good shape. I'm still certain it is a spun bearing because it was a loud knocking sound. I have to open it up when i get some time to see if i can reuse some parts (rods) to build a stroker. I'm going to pick up an engine today in anaheim. From what i've been told, it's in running shape and had good compression before removed. It has about 8 hours of racing on it. I"m also going to get another e-31 head that has a cam in it.

Hi there ya'll! I got some news. My engine is broke. It makes a kewl new sound. It's kinda like "clink clink clink clink" in very rapid succession. I kinda like it. NOT! I was on my way to work, when I had a los in power. I pushed the clutch in, and the engine stoped. I turned my radio down, and heard that kewl new sound when i restarted. I immediatly turned it off. Un fortunately, I was forced to drive it off the free way to a place that would be safe to stick my z in the back of a trailer. It's now partially dismantled in my garage. I hope i didn't damage it too bad. I think i spun a bearing, becaue when i was pulled over on the freeway i checked the oil and smoke was coming out of the dip stick tube. I think the cause of the spun bearing is the stupid silicone gasket i used on my zx distributor converson. I know i'm an idiot for using pluming type silicone on my engine. I'm now trying to pull my foot out of my arse.

Awww mutherfudrucker. I have to work tomorrow night. Guess I'll have to just keep my 350z doodle up on my wall.

I saw this little car in action. I was down at the Q watching the races. This little car pulled up, I thought to my slef that would be sick if it had an sr20. It staged, lights went green, and tires smoked. The turbo was sucking, and the ehxhaust was roaring. At first, people were under the impression that the little yellow roadster had a skyline motor. I knew the sound though. It was an sr20. I remeber that night because I fell in love with the thought of swapping an RB motor in my z.
