Hi, I found black one from Jan.1970 issued "car graphic"in japan. This car must be built in 1969 due to the date of issue of magazine. I can see the black splash pan under the S20 engine. This is a fairlady Z432. So,black pan had already been seen in 1969,I can say there have been two colors (black and silver)from 1969.
  6. Mr.OSAWA said 2 silver 240Z,one is 4 speed manual trans, another one is automatic trans. This is amaizing,we did not know automatic already built such early days.
  7. Thank you everyone, Yes, the red 240Z is special.I show you another "non-badge 240z"this shot is from Mr.OSAWA's 8mm camera never seen to the public. This silver 240Z has arrived at NMC in Oct.2nd 1969 for 3months road test in north america. You can see Mr.K at 60 years old. kats
  8. I show you interesting photo. These hub caps was found by Mr.Matsuo in his stock yeard. They still got rapped unti-water papers. All of them are beautiful, they are earliest caps you can see tabs are different from later ones. I can see "IKI 103" IKI is a manufacture's name.
  9. Hello, I show you my 240Z got old bridgestone 6.45H14. This is not origanal, but you can see the 1969 240Z in press photo got same size tires. Also there is a discription in Nov.1969 HLS30 parts catalog "tire is 6.45 H14" and also we can see that size in owners manual and service manual with 175SR14 and 175HR 14.I know 175 SR14 is original for my march 1970 240Z. Very careful looking, press photo shows "BRIDGESTONE SUPER SPEED 2"for it's tire. And another press photo I can see "6.45H14"on it's tire. My tire is "SKYWAY-H"so this is different. But looks like press photo tire,I like this old bridgestone logo. Any comment please, thank you. kats

  11. Thanks for looking, Marty,my seat was restored in Mr.NISHI's shop in japan. He said he used large amount of paint for vinyl dying same as painting a whole car. This seat vinyl is not produeced by NISSAN,this is completely Mr.NISHI's original. He did his best and result is as close to as original. I sent a small piece of my blue interior,Mr.NISHI used it as a model of color. Steve,I agree with you. This seat belt holder is not original,it is modifyed from 1971later one.I have original holders made of steel with rubber, but they are so bad almost broken. 26th-Z,please show us nice information when you get!! I would like to see your very early 240Z's details. MikeW, thank you for your notice!!

Thank you abas and 26th-Z, I have been thinking about same thing as you abas, my jack holding clip is different from the one which I saw in the factory service bullutin for the JAPANESE fairlday. In that, clip looks rubber band. And 26th-Z showed pictures they are a kind of black,my jute is blown which seems to me not-added anything to the jute. And the shape is "fat T"is same, but other ones are looks 71later to 73 Z. Thanks kats
