I worked for a GC doing that same stuff, 18 years. Student Centers with dorms and eating facilities. Athletic Centers, anything with money. We even did Guvment work.

If you can't get the drums off pull the rubber plug out or push it through then take a skinny standard screwdriver and turn the adjusting gear on the cylinders down I think to loosen the brake shoes.
  7. Pretty funny ad. Best of luck on the sale. F.A.Q from the Dealer Q: I have a buyer for my rare tricked out caboose once owned by Harry S. Truman with 24k gold walls, whale foreskin seats, and the same floors that are in Trump Tower I am selling. Can we finish the deal when I get the money next week? A: No. Don't bid unless you have the funds ready. Before the close of the sale is a good time to ask your husband, wife, girlfriend, parents, parole officer, Miss Cleo, or your Magic 8 Ball before you commit to buy. Q: Oh, you're just a dealer trying to flip it and make money? A: Yes, we like to make a profit although that is not always the case.

Under your car the cable from the e-brake pull handle connects to a U shaped cable that runs to both sides of the rears. you can unhook it there easiest. Or each rear tire. When you pull up on the ebrake handle is it tight? If it's not your drums are stuck to the shoes. Soak them with wd-40 and bang them with rubber hammer. You might even catch a jack on the drum fins and break them loose ? Let us know how it's behaving, maybe some other suggestions from members. That very common for when they've been sitting.
  15. Breaker breaker good buddy. This is "smokie too muchie" looking for Z-dogs with onion rings and ranch dressing. Then a dumper for these wizz jugs.

Most likely the rear drums are stuck. Spray the heck out of them and bang with a rubber hammer. May have to unhook the ebrake cable? I'd soak them and bang them then try pulling with another vehicle. Be super careful where you tow from, don't use the rear bumper even it still has the strapping hooks. They were for shipping not towing.
  18. I could loop them together under the dash with a 180 copper fitting or two 90s. Come off the back of the head into the cabin, 180 turn around then back out to the bypass tube???? No heat though but I'll pressure test the heater core first before doing a simple loop. Already bought all the shiz-nit. 8^)
  19. I can't figure out how to route the hoses without hooking in the rear of the head. I'm trying to look stock. Thanks Zed!
  20. Rustoleum has flat black oil at lowes. It's for outside wrought iron.
  21. Thank You! I need to restore them, faded aluminium BAD but they look really cool for that era car. Add some curb feelers and I'm back in the '70s.
  22. Not sure what you're getting at? Gloss is shiny flat isn't. Mixing them together gives different levels of sheen. Latex is house paint, I wouldn't consider that for a dash it'll get soft when it's hot. What about a bedliner type paint? I've read a bunch of people using that with good results.
  23. Take gloss oil and flat oil, mix 50/50 for semi gloss. Then 33/66 for satin or less for matte. I've had great results that way. You should google first but I'm almost sure thinning with denatured alcohol will flatten it out even more.
  24. I used that same high heat bbq paint on my first rebuild. It almost looks dark chocolate to me.
  25. The potential mess, damage to electrical n that area. Whatever the rad cap's max is. With that valve closed it completely bypasses the rear of the head by closing the path through the core. I don't need heat but it looks cheap without those hoses and a plugged off head hose. I'm getting close to my first car show! Don't want some prick pointing out MY problems. People with no car are the mouthy critics, penis holsters.
