I've tried this before, but can you guys take your pissing content to a new thread? I'll suggest a name for it, "pissing content". I look forward to this thread to see cars for sale,.etc, but most of it now is guys sparring over words.

I drive a 56 Beetle, it didn't come with seat belts. You just have to drive it like you're riding a motorcycle.

Yes. The first time this happened I didnt notice it and one of the valve stems actually split, in my garage. So I adjusted all the teeth, got them super tight, but still spin. The after market ones are super tight, it took an hour to get them all on trying not to ding them up. New tires, all balanced with no noticeable vibration in the rear. But before I adjusted them, all for corners spun. Ther are about 1 inch tabs that fully encompass the cap with serrated teeth.
I have three sets of D hubcaps and one of the aftermarket set from Resurrected Classics. I can't get them to stop spinning on the wheels. I figured the original sets were maybe too tired, so I put on the aftermarket set, which are extremely tight, yet the rear caps spun in about 4 miles. I can get the front ones to not spin, but the rear wheels just won't stop. I've had them off at least 4 times to adjust, and I'm not a lead foot, but that shouldn't matter. In almost 30 years of running hubcaps on 240z's, I've never experienced this. I tried RTV, rotating the wheels, adjusting the tabs, nothing works. Maybe the wheels are worn where the teeth grab the caps? It's a 1/71 car.That's what I've done I my 1/71 leaving everything hooked up and complete.I believe that's the Nissan Heritage museum. This is a beautiful car. I would think this auction would be the litmus test in the early Z market today.No they didn't.Was on a 3 day layover in Nagoya, and visited the Toyota Auto Museum. Fantastic. The 432 was great, but the show was stolen by the 2000GT. So many great cars there. Another notable was a 42 KdF Beetle, and from the description the earliest Datsun.
Some kid is going to love revving it up and sharing the horrible sound from that exhaust pipe, maybe it will do some backfiring as well.LolDoes anyone know the actual quality of these filters you can find on eBay and a couple other sites? How do they compare to other popular brands?
