I have decided, that I will design a 3-D printed mount for the Haltech Nexus R3. Iām going to mounted it under the passenger seat so that itās out of sight. I had considered mounting it to the passenger side kick panel but now I have a 3-D printer so why not?

Interesting aside as we are talking about the Millan Nissan racers. In my career, I have encountered an amazing woman from New Zealand who worked with Rod Millan. Catherine Mohr has two mechanical engineering degrees for MIT and an MD from Stanford. She is one of the people responsible for the Davinci Robotic Surgery Device. At MIT she was part of the Solar Race Car team. She helped the Milanās with the Nissan race cars in the 90ās.

MOMO steering wheel - new in box
I bought this intending to use it in my 914-6 GT. I never mounted it. I got the chance to drive my buddies nearly identical 914-6 GT with the same wheel and realized that Iād hate living with this wheel as my shoulder is injured and I would have trouble steering. Date of manufacture is 10/16. My loss, your gain. Normally, Iād entertain offers but Iām taking a biggish loss here. $200 plus shipping at actual cost.

It will be too late for your car @Yarb. I showed my wife a waterfront house in Tampa the other day. A couple hundred grand less than our current home with a pool and a Gulf of whatever it is these days. She told me it would all be under water within a few years so, no, we canāt move to Tampa. š«

I have a buddy who owns 914Rubber.com. As you might imagine, he makes repro-rubber parts for Porsche. I ordered 4 extra boots to send to him for reverse - engineering if he so desires. He supplies Stoddard, Pelican Parts, Sierra Madre and such. If he chooses to do it, and he might because all LJet Porsche cars wear boots, he knows rubber manufacturing and will actually produce something that will work. Iām not really worried about it. What keeps me up at night is learning to wire and program for sequential injection!š¤Æ

Seems to me these Bosch EV1 electrical connectors have a matching boot for the wire side. Anyone have a source?
