water temp
Hi people. What should be the water temp for a 300 HP 280Z race engine. Will it or should it run much higher than stock? Is the optimum stock temp 180 - 190? Thanks C

I believe it's a 240 SX This car is a GT 3 and I think the tube frame is most likely originally designed for 240 SX body.

Flat top compression
Does anyone know what the maximum compression a L28 .040 over, cast, flat top piston can handle before it implodes. Running on roughly 105 octane.

72 ITS Prepped
Hi' I'm currently rebuilding a 240Z GT 2 My question is about the braking system. It looks like some racing Z's don't run a vacuum booster they just have master cylinder. If this is true maybe you can explain to me whats up. Also do you recommend the Toyota brake caliper setup for racing. i'm not sure if I can get race pads for them. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks Chris

My 240Z GT2 race car project
I picked it up here in Vancouver B.C. You've probably seen this car raced at SIR over the past decade. The Beaudoin brothers owned it. The new version they have looks the exact same except it has a tube chassis. Cheers Chris
