Maybe i am missing it but i cant fine a couple of things and hope you guys can help. The vinyl bag that goes over the wiper motor ? and the plastic snorkels on either side of the Radiator ? Thanks

well Guys thanks for the input. It just didnt cross my mind untill i tried to put my old wheels on after the brake job and they wouldnt fit ( new 17's are a week away) I just thought I would use one of my old wheels as a spare but guess not.

The one i took off was just glued. I am getting ready to glue on a new one. They sent me high temp glue to re-apply it with, it came with the kit. MY QUESTION IS i want to put sound deading mat ( second skin ) on first and am concerned with the adhersion of the mat and then the liner to that.

Question? what are you guys doing for a spare tire? I will soon have new 17" wheels to go with my big brake kit and have realized that no spare is going to fit over the brakes??? Does anyone make just a steel wheel that would work? Thanks

Thanks That is the obvious but they are no help. They said they dont have any and i was on my own so i thought i would ask here. the Pick Your Part is a good idea but i am on the east coast. Have called several local yards but no luck, but will keep trying

Door panel now covered with SECOND SKIN and ready for vinyl

If you bring those cut line together it will form the deep inside curve for you. Try it with a pice of paper and it will give you the idea.

You might cut one out of the pattern above in paper at a small scale and fold and tape it to give you a better idea. Keep in mind this is for my 260 and i am not sure the patteren is right for others.

I just heated the material between the two cuts and seams pulled right to gether. i glued it with rhino Glue http://www.rhinoglue.com/ when that was dry i did cut a form out of plywood to heat and bend the outer 2" just by heating it and then laying the form down on it with some weight for about 10 min. The form is just some plywood +/- 2'' to follow the outer edge. Can take a photo of the form if you like?

Here it a rebuilt door panel using the pattern above. Seams folded and welded and a heat gun used to form the comppound curves. It is made out of sintra 1/8" pvc sheets. I will now cover the inside face with second skin and then the vinyl kit i bought.
