The swaztika wheels I think look cool on your green 240Z but the right side rims face forward and the left side are backwards. What is with that? Even new cars today have rims that face the wrong derection on one side, Could they not make a set which face forwards on both sides of a car? Heh, or you can powder coat 'em Black and have a Black on Green color scheme :rambo: ~Z~

Racerville, CA 90% Rust Free state and there are at least 11 S30 Z's in my 20 mile area including my own 1977 280Z. Also a bunch of '79 - '89 ZX's and 1990 - 1996 300ZX's .

Helloo Dog I also a 77 Ruby and need a working fuel pump and possibly the adjoing componets like (Fuel Preasure Regulator?) if you can spare one. My mechanic says he tested my pump and that it's running 6 pounds below presure I have a cuzin who lives in Vacaville BTW. So far I hear it's a nice place to live. ~Z~

Agreed. But thats in relation to someones personal property and I believe the DMV has procedures for getting ownership of Abandonned cars. This "hypothetical" assumes a "company" has ownership of a rare and historicly significant car and is about to destroy it with no regard in saving it for future generations to enjoy and learn form it. I read a True story of a Pennsylvania Railroad E7A diesel locomotive #5901 that was built in the 1940's. The E7A's was the equalivent of the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 as any train buff will tell you The Pennsylvania Railroad was a famous Railroad company which went under in the 1970's but had a huge fleet of these beutiflully painted Marron colored E7A's with Gold Pinstripping and this one was the last one left in existance from any Railroad. The very last E7A ! Well It was about to be sent to the scrape yard back in the early 1990s (if I'm getting the date right). Long story short E7A #5901 was stolen by the employes and hidden in a roundhouse of all places untill they were able to fight and win ownership of the E1 from the then current railroad company. It is now restored in origanal Marron and Gold paint scheme and availble for all to see and enjoy Like wise the prototype SD9 locomotive (built circa 1940's and equilivent to our 280Z) that was owned by Southern Pacific Railroad was also saved from the cutting torch in the 1990's, but not with as much drama, now at a train museum in Illinois. Actually I take that back as SP really wanted to torch the thing ... ! It's true though that thou shall not steal, out of greed. I agree on that, but lets say hypothetically (If I spelled that right) Your have a Wreck Yard that is notorious for crushing rare cars with rare parts and theres a rusted 240Z that jus happens to have a set of Z432 rims on them and was next in line to be crushed tomorrow and all your attempts to buy the car or any parts have failed simply because they rather crush the Z and sell it for Scrap metal, what do you do then? Mind you that Z432 rims I seen go for $6,000 US in rusted, JACKED UP condition and that was in Japan :eek: ~Z~

I jus orderd myself some MC Hammer pants from EBAY and heading to my local wreck yard Insurance if they rather crush it and won't take your 5 bucks :laugh: ~Z~

That is exactly my problem. Dropping my Ruby off to get her Tank cleaned end of the month, new fuel pump afterwards, while she's in the shop getting a "minor" engine rubuild :tapemouth She straight left me stranded on the way to an interview to be deleivery guy at Round Table Pizza I was low on gas but wasn't tripping and jus happened to be thinking "I'll keep driving around untill the Fuel Light goes off.". Low Gas Warning Light never came on and the power straight bleed off at a red light 5 blocks away from my interview, and I happen to to be the guy at the front of the intersection :eek: . RPM's stayed at about 1,100. When I got on the gas the Tach jus looked at me. Floored it and still got stared at, let off the gas then floored it again and it was at this point she crossed her hands, turned her head to the side and died on me :hurt: Rust in my Gas Tank so bad when I changed my Fuel Filter, 91 Octane looked like Gravy.... and that was before this story occured 2 days ago :hurt: :hurt: I drove on gravy for 2 weeks :mad: but I gas she had enough :knockedou ~Z~
