Fujitsubo also makes a nice Twin pipe system you might like. We talked about it in another thread. They look like the Z432R set up. They also make a set with single exhaust too. I was just reading one in Super Street, of all places, issue # November 2007 page 58, that had a Black S30. As said befor lots of Info here including stuff on the JDM Fairlady Z's if your into the JDM thing that is. Headers, Exhaust, 240ZG body kits, Rally/Callender Clocks and the whole works. Cali, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas are the best states to find a Rust Free Z so broadening your search to includes those states will increase and speed up your chances. I was lucky enough to find my baby '77 280Z Ruby, 3 blocks from my home. I was walking from the bus stop after something told me to get off 1 stop past the usual one and go down "this" street. And there she was wit a 4 sale sign If you can spot a Z on an intersection in traffic you can spot one in a driveway, so cruise around those "unknown" side streets once and awhile and maybe knock on a door two if you find one ~Z~

26, and from the start since Dragon Ball was on the fuzzy regular T.V. station with no cable at 2 o'clock in the morning Guess it really started when I was 4 and Thunder Cats came out, Mumra was the **** :bandit::paranoid: Latter progressed into the real stuff when Toonami first launched on the Cartoon Network with the original host, Bob, showing Gundam Wing and Outlaw Star, remember that one Toonami was the bomb wit the original host intsead of the replacement guy who got the show cancelled. Anyway I enjoyed their music features they did with the Vincent Price like voice over narrator dropping jewles of advice and knowledge over different kinds of music. Like Trance, Hard Techno, Lounge and even Jazz music which I know SBlake would've liked, seeing how he's a Saxophone player, while playing Anime clips from various shows in sinc to the rythms of the music. Some of the music the used I had the CD of months before like Ghost by Day on the Gearwhore Album and lots of the stuff they were using from the Ninja Tunes lable based out of the U.K. I belive London exactly. My Favorite "video" they did was the one where they used the Gundam Wing scenes along with Outlaw Star and at the end the narrator tells you to, "Don't be a failure" in a low voice. Keep in mind he was saying alot of other stuff that lead up to that, but that line at the end was his point which he muralled and nailed. All the while speaking his poetry to some slow opera type music in the background with Mechas in space in front of setting suns falling behind a floating Earth, Lift Offs and Smoke, and Mellow Strings (orchastra) Cowboy B rocked solid especially the final episode. No. No gas smell but the Spark plugs on 1 through 5 were seriously fouled out. They are stock NGK and only have less than a 1,000 miles on them and are only 2 months old. They were burnt looking and Black with the ingiting tips a dark Blackish Grey. I'll get some photos of those today and put them on Photobucket. Number 6 Spark plug was bone dry the whole time and a little Black you can say from ignition sparking with out getting wet from any kind of gas. I was getting some back firing once in a while which sounded like it was coming through the AFM on start up. I believe thats been known to happen sometimes no? Also backfiring rarely in the Tailpipe if I was pumping the gas Racer Style The biggest one I had I was going under a 20ft wide railroad bridge at night when I clutched in and clucthed off in 3rd, sounded like a BOMB went off :rambo: The preasure in the fuelrail I think is backed up since the gas has nowhere to go in #6. I assume this was whats cousing the hesitation on my tach along with a timing issue being set up to run with this jacked up gasket. When I floor the gas the revs don't take off and clime like mad and acclerate, it just cruises it way up to speed and at 3,500 RPM my Valvetrain starts to rattle. I have yet to take it to 4,500 other than by accident from down shiftting to early couple times. Nothing a valve adjustment can't handle I hope. Minor stuff campared to the head job I was quoted which I now don't believe I need. Still might take the head off on my own while I'm this far into it and give that a look over with HKS head gasket from MSA, but they come in 1.2mm and 2.0mm thickness ~Z~

Thyanx Guys! I ordered the New correct 1977 Intake/Exhaust gaket from MSA and a Water Temperture Sensor along with some other parts. Should arrive Tuesday or Wedsneday and I'll let ya know how it turns out. Thyanx again ~Z~

Thyanx for that info, I'll get the ordering that gasket from MSA today I'd rather be scared the right way then the WRONG WAY Is the Notch and Squar Slits a part of the gasket itself? Reason I ask is I'm hoping there not part of the Cylinder Head wall cause that would :hurt:. To answer your question she ran on 5 cylinders but the idle would die untill after letting it run for 10 or 15 minutes then it would hold (After setting the idle screw at 1,100 RPM :pirate:) Tach would dorp like a rock once, twice then three times in a row when going from dead stop neutral into 1st gear under load causing me to get on the clutch so the RPM's would clime by taking the load off the engine. Always has the same pattern though, once twice then three times with the Tach, sometimes only twice in row . However if I give her just a little bit of gas peddle the RPM would dip from 1,100 to about 800 or 500 then raise back up and drive like normal. Problem would dissapate some after driving awhile but if I didn't watch it the Tach could just suddenly drop all the way to zero RPM's locking the engine and car to a dead stop in 1st gear as oppposed to neutral or on the clutch where I would coast. Needless to say 2 or 3 times stalling like that helped Kill my clutch disc right there over time. And thats not counting any the PO's and what they did Yeah, so she ran like a Mac Truck with heart problems :cheeky: Still lots of power though for a 5 banger :cheeky: ~Z~

OK, Heres what #6 FI port looks like... and here is #3. As you can the Silver Ring Arch I was reffering to is the band of silver arching ocer the hole at the bottom of the port. I'm assuming it leads to the combustion chamber. Ports 1, 2, ,4 and 5 look the same as number 3 does but with the hole on the bottom slightly off center more and more. The Silver Arch on Port #6 however is completly blocked off and the hole is somehow between the intake manifold and the gasket on side of the cylinder head which holds the cam and stuff. Is there something wrong here and what are those rectangler slits above the hole? More photos of different enlargments and angles here. http://s170.photobucket.com/albums/u280/Wingzr0/1%20pics/ P.S. I had to roll the car into the angle of the sunlight to get these photos right. :rambo: Oh yes, how do I get the tube going from the exhaust manifold upto the EGR Valve on the intake manifold? The bolts holding the tube together seem to be stuck or something, other than that I got everything disconnected to take those manifolds off execpt for those 1 to 3 bolts. ~Z~

Going out to take pictures of all 6 FI Ports rIght now and get the pictures up later today, so hopefully this will help in my description. Taking off the Intake and Exhaust Manifolds while I'm at it so hopefully I can see whats really going on behind the drama. Yakin off the Cylinder Head tommorow if need be and check the pistions for this "Carbon Build Up" I've been hearing about and clean it. So Big day off work for me today and tommorow and lots of time with my Z and phone calls to MSA WOO HOOOOO !, I LOVE THE SMELL OF OIL AND GASOLINE ~Z~
