Might be on Ebay soon...if so don't abuse me too bad
Everything looks good to me. Awesome too ! Only saw one thing though. The center counsel arm rest cover looks crooked from the back as in pic #13, try and fix if you can though. And did you change the muffler from the curl down type as in pic #5 and #6 to the straight out style like in pic #22 and 33? 5 and 6. 22 and 33. Other than that I also agree with going with all black floor mats or carpet, close up pics of the rocker panels and roof and lastly mention what kind of exhuast set up you have. A sound clip or well shot video might be a good idea also, after all we all love the sound of exhaust noises Good luck to ya, she'll sell fo sho. ~Z~

GT Tail Light Uses
Very nice execution on the Z. Love the Silver Chorme headlight buckets and the use of the California rear wing (if thats what it is) on the "special" rear hatch with the rear engine style grille hood vents Whats that style hatch called BTW, only seen 3 so far counting this one and they seem cool, regardless of trunk space :cheeky: Over all a clean Z IMO. ~Z~

Building Online Parts Store! Like Opinions Please.
Thyanks Bre-240Z for the Tips and all taken to Heart I'll take you up on your offer and send you a PM. Guess I can do a little less with the symbols, was just trying to personalize it a little bit for people, so to say. The " ~ " symbole was an attempt to stylishly frame the stores name like with my ~Z~ which don't have to be done on the site, still thought looked it cool but... The fighting guy Akuma, from Super Street Fighter and Marvel v.s. Capcom 2 (for Sega Dreamcast), I just think was plain cool for no other reason than that :rambo:. He's too good to ditch for now I actually like the idea of a Black background but didn't think about the older crowds or those with glasses which I totaly understand. If theres a way the site can have an option where customers can chose the "color scheme" like in Black or a standard White background that would be great! I grasp the idea of what your saying is, less clutter? The different fonts sizes as far as from page to page was testing how they would look compared to another page of same layout but with size text. Basiclay comparing a size 3 to a size 5, but I'll do as you said and keep it all one main size through out the site as planed for sure. And trim down all uneccesary or mal placed graphics. Did learn some basic hotmail codes on my own and was going to take a online web design class last summer but was a little to busy at the time to register for the course. Still kinda busy now I'm in the middle of moving to another home, I'll sign up when I'm settled of course. Tried to aplly though what I learned from my ebay pages to the site for example, how these look? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=009&sspagename=STRK%3AMESO%3AIT&viewitem=&item=190192958973&rd=1 And http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=009&sspagename=STRK%3AMESO%3AIT&viewitem=&item=190198973013&rd=1 And with animated gif background http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=009&sspagename=STRK%3AMESO%3AIT&viewitem=&item=190188257760&rd=1 ZAK's Z, thyanx for the links! I'll give those a definite thorough read I'll be revising it so more in the next week when time allows to help get somewhat towards a final "rough draft". Please feel free to share all criticisms and thoughts as always everyone Thyanx ~Z~

Building Online Parts Store! Like Opinions Please.
Hello All I've been building a layout for an online parts store called GangLoadOParts and have some really great ideas on how to put it together using sound, music, color schemes, photography skills and other cool ideas to make it a very unigue place on the web. I really would like to get some feedback on what you all think about it as a whole. The music is Jazzy and in time I'll even have some Rocking Heavy Metal as well, (can anyone say ANTHRAX :rambo:) All with PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, Fast Forward, Rewind and Sound Controls. Well anyhow the 1st link is to the actual Parts Store with all the correct Layouts and Navigation Page and such. The Homepage I'm thinking is going to need a little more tweaking on far as how to list the items appropriately. If you look at the "About GLOP" section it will explain the puprose of the site FYI, "GLOP" and "GLO Parts" is short for the stores name And was an Ebay ID of mine with 50 100% Positve seller feedbacks! Underlined titles take you to other pages with more pics of that particular item. The 2nd site is my old Blog Page which I used alot of fun graphics on and applied them to a similiar concept of a online parts store. The Skyline Nite Picture on there will take you to another interesting site also for some of you fellow Z'ers who are also art lovers. If you scroll towards the bottom you'll even find a VERY FUNNY Link to something involving the D1GP Drift Series I believe :tapemouth What I like to know from this version of the layout is should I apply some of those concepts onto the 1st website site so to speak. Other than that I think I got most it down the way it should be. Is there anything you guys would like to see included or anything I missed as far as selling catogories or other parts items and website features ? This is just a layout only and half the things on it are photos of stuff I already sold just to get an idea of where things will go. So nothing so far is for sale yet and there are no prices, but however I do have items coming I've been doing and working on this for sometime and would very much like you guy's opinions on this please. Music, Graphics anything you like to see added, taking out or that I've missed. Here goes the 2 links. Link #1-> http://www.gangloadoparts.com/z/ Link #2-> http://www.gangloadoparts.com/ Another manifestation for my LUV of cars ^^ Thaynku Very Much yo Arigato Gozaimasu ~Z~

Looking at buying a 240Z
Hi JoelH and as always welcome to the Clob Bro It does seem the drivers mirrior is missing but those are always easy to find along with stock seats. You might even want to use the search function for Z432 seats like these or seats in general. Thread Link ->http://classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29564&highlight=seats Store Link for seats ->http://www.zccjdm.com/ Other than that from what I can tell from the photos that Z looks extreamly good from outside and in engine bay for that price. It may be a great idea to talk to the seller first in detail about how the paint and body work and other work was done before you make the trip. The more you now before hand, the better. ~Z~

New Knight Rider Series
Yeah, see The Fast and The "Not So" Furious When the CGI cars showed up it just kilt the show. The only one they pulled off was when the 350Z in the last one drifted 2mm's from the wall on the back end in the parking garage. If it wasn't for the mood of the race built up to that point then it would've been just another CG sequence, but the fact the race was wrote out good as a whole, and they made the Z look right, made that Tail Whip Shot come out great. ~Z~

The State of Things....
Ruby's finally at the shop now ! Nakatsu's been extreamly busy working on at first 3, now 5 other race cars getting them ready for the up coming race season for other customers. So today I got her towed into the shop and put down a deposit for a complete engine rebuild. Both engine and trans are coming out! Engine Block is going into a machine shop (for lack of a better term) to get a complete check over, decked and all the standard things associated with that kind of work. Estimated time to get to start work on her is around first part of April with completion time of around 1 to 2 months depending on how bad the damage is and upgrades I may add along the way, and of course $ . Things on the work order list so far are ~Piston Rings ~New Piston Heads if need be ~ARP head bolts and connecting rod bolts ~Kameari high capacity oil pump ~New water pump which I may go with the MSA Electric version ~New MSA Aluminum Radiator (Maybe) ~Cap and Rotor (manditory) ~Stock timing chain ~MSA 3-2-1 header with 2 inch down pipe connected to NOS ANSA Twin Stack with 2 inch inlet diameter (Cat Converter will be made to swap in and out easily for smog test days) ~New Stock Cam (depending on if the stock cam that came with the rebuilt cylinder head is actually good are not. We will likely be taking the new head apart and rechecking it to make sure it's all up to spec.) ~Oil preasure sender ~Raising rate fuel preasure regulator ~All new matching injectors and connectors ~Check Fuel Pump ~Check AFM and Throttle Body ~Check to see if Gas Tank need to be boiled out ~Replace any sensors that are bad along with Cold Start Valve if need be ~New stock brakes and SS lines and wheel bearings ~New polyurethane suspension bushings most likely ~Check entire suspension componets just to be safe ~Quick steering knuckles ~Painting hood Gloss Black to fix that unsightly 4 inch bondo crack on the my hood bulge. What is that hood bulge actually called by the way :cheeky: and should I paint the hood only or hood, inspection lids and cowl panel GB for that "Arrow Head" look? OK, so other than that just your basic engine rebuild. I know some of the things I listed are standard for a rebuild but thought I'd list them jus the same. Everthing will be done to still pass smog ( Thyanx Blake ~_^ ). Also going to seriously look into that Mega Squirt set for later on after talking more in depth about it with Nakatsu. I believe this is the link -> http://www.bgsoflex.com/megasquirt.html He was actuallly suprised to know they were still around and that I knew about them. We were even talking some about the new AEM EMS set up that came out last year, the one were you have to mail it in to have them (AEM) program the engine parameters you like so you can tune it later when you get it back in the mail. Supposedly it's cheaper than the old system they were using at around $6K. http://www.aempower.com/ And case your wondering why I'm painting the hood Black is because I'm not sure if the new Dupont 51013 Sparkling Burgundy Poly will be too bright for the rest of car untill I can get it complety repainted at a later date. Nothing says yuck like a non matching body panel of "same" color OH yeah, I posted this number for somebody once but the number has changed, Nakatsu's Garrage / NS Garage Dean Nakatsu 530-632-2761, shop # 530-674-7223 NSGarage1@yahoo.com Wheeu, now I need a 2nd job :rambo: ~Z~

If your realy looking for rims then chack these 2 sites. 1~ This one is loaded with tons of New and sometimes used stuff. But if you not hung up on rim refinishing then this is the place to find some pretty unique or otherwise hard to find stuff, especially JDM. http://yhst-1408381693991.stores.yahoo.net/rarejdmrims.html 2~ This site here is the same but 2 different links I will give you to it. The first is the home page to the rims by company and the second link is the rims by photos (I think). Either way if you click on the rim makers image link it will show you a pic of all the rims by that factory and the bolt patterns and other information per rim along with a homepage link to the factorys website if included and also if the rim is discountinued or not. You can search by rim size, style, color, construction type, manfacture or number of spokes etc etc etc Just keep in mind that it may not be up to date far as the newest styles that are currently out, for instance Tenzo has some rims that are not on thier list yet. http://www.wheelspecs.com/WheelBrands.aspx?BrandPrefix=A AND~ http://www.wheelspecs.com/default.aspx ~Z~

Everything you said is right but I you got one thing wrong problely by mistake. The more Positve Offset you have the closer the center off the wheel will come to the rim lip or face of the wheel. The more Negitive Offset the more sunken in the center of the rim is as I believe you intended to say . Backspace is the key of what matters and using this tire calculator guide in the link below you can see visually what a Positive Offset will do. For example, add the deminsions for a 14x7 rim with 0 Offset and compare that with the second wheel on the right using the demisions of 14x6 with +10 Offset. You will see the backspace for both are nearly identical with the left 14x7 rim having 4 inches backspace and the 14x6 rim on the right having 4.1 inches. Also the you can see the +10 Offset rim has the center closer to the face or rim lip, i.e. closer to the outside. The more Negitive the Offset the deeper the rim is http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp?item=Wheel-Tire%20size%20comparer&showRim1=1 &showTire1=1&sw1=215&ar1=60&bd1=14&rd1=14&rw1=7.0&et1=0&showRim2=1&showTire2=1&sw2 =215&ar2=60&bd2=14&rd2=14&rw2=7.0&et2=0&text1=&text2= ~Z~

260 found, what's it worth?
But 2+2, whewwww, I only seen two of those done right. One Modded to the max and the other simply nicely done in white with white rims and black fender flares on low profile tires.
