I got mine form the dealer for $8.95. You will have to trim a little off the mounting arm because the slot in the choke handle is smaller but it works great.

Germanz I have had no problems with the Ball Joints they are solid with no play. What shape is the rest of your spension in? I have always checked ball joint play by shaking the wheel at 6 and 12 not 3 and 9. When you shake the wheel at 3 and 9 you are moving the tie rods and rack.

Finnished up the install last night and took it out for a spin what a difference good ball joints can make. No more shaking of the wheel at 70MPH. He has a lot of z parts on e-bay right now. He ended the auction and let me have them for the opening bid and sent them out that day. Thew shipped out on Monday and I had them Wensday. Had to get a new tie rod nut to get it finished. The tie rod nut was the hardest thing to find. No one had one and the said the could not get them not even the dealer. I found one at a parts store in the help section mixed in with all the other help items.

After market very satified with them. I got them on e-baf form a guy I have purchased parts from before. $44.95 for a pair plus shipping and insurance. Just finished replacing the ball joints and all is better now. No more play in the front end.

There is a lot of play in the right side ball joint. I have the car up on stands to see what was causinm the shake in the front end.

I need to replace my ball joints and wanted to see what brand you all recomand. Where is the best place to purchase them with the best price

I like the look of a Z with an air dam much better than stock. The handling of my Z was greatly improved once I instaled the air dam.

I have a friend that has some parts left from an 82 ZX that he parted. All parts are located in Phenox, AZ 1 front end suspension with steering box and coupling 1 door drivers side (black all striped down no window) 1 ac/heater core 1 Factory Radio

If you can pull one off there should be some information on the rim to help you identify them.

I am in the process of a tune-up on my 240z. I need to adjust the valves and need to know how to connect a remote starter button in order to turn the motor.

What u joint brand should I use when replacing them?

The noise is not constint and only happens some times. Most of the time when at crusing speed. It will quit when I throw in the clutch or let off the gas. From what I can tell there is no play in the U joints. Any help would be great

OK Put the Z up in the air last night and the u joints look good. Greased them up and thought every thing was good. On the way to work the noise is back What to check next. Any help? I can always turn up the tunes but that will not fix the problem.

I have a 72 240z and while driving I am getting a metallic tinking sound from the trans tunnel. I am thinking that I have a U Joint going bad. Just wanted to see what you all thought before I get home and get it up in the air.

I have never seen any emblems attached to the left side of the hatch on a Z car. The only thing I can think of would be a dealership added name badge.
