  1. Low budget, 260 engine, and fast dont really go together. One of those variables has to go.
  2. Wow. Were all the parts new ? Seems really expensive.
  3. Wow, that looks very nice!
  4. I wanna see it in action!
  5. it is normal for the injectors to click. thats just the sound of them opening and closing.
  6. IF the physics of the game were more like a simulation, i would like it more. I think forza 2 is an all around better game imo.
  7. Wow. Someone knows their Datsuns!
  8. Its a pita, but can be done. I removed my entire dash whe I replaced my heater core, but thats only because I was going to do some rewiring in the dash. Im sure the 260z and 280z are a little different, because IIRC, the 280z and 260z have different heater cores. But, on mine it looked like the heater core could be removed just by removing the blower motor, and the metal adapter thing bolted into the firewall.
  9. I found some more pics I was playing around with a long time ago that I found in my old archives. Filters are easy and fun. Feel free to use them as a wallpaper if you like. Before vvv After vvv Before vvv After vvv MONSTER TRUCK 240Z!!!!!! Before vvv After, obviously vvv
  10. It sucks I dont have photoshop anymore. Maybe someone will be kind enough to lend me their ps serial number
  11. This may help http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/tech/GearRatios.html
  12. Looks like Nitro. Im glad to hear you're ok, Darbji.
  13. Thank you very much Jason!
  14. Its a stock ecu. I plan on turning up the boost level, and runing an intercooler too.
  15. I am looking to upgrade my stock injectors on my 1982 280zxt. I believe the stock ones are 259cc, which I have been told are only good for up to 230 crank hp. SO are there any injectors from other cars that will directly, or with minimal modification, fit into the stock 280zxt fuel rail/intake manifold? I may have the supplies to make a custom fuel rail if need be, they look pretty simple to fab.
  16. Neither my 260z, nor my s130 have this part.
  17. My dad found a bag of weed in a car he bought at an impound auction. He disposed of it by selling it to my friends. Thanks a lot dad. Oh well, they were pot heads anyways.
  18. Thanks for the info 26th! The only reason I was going to paint it is because it looks pretty nasty. I think someone has painted it before me, and that paint is coming off. I know the Nissan OCH valve covers weren't painted from the factory, but were the TURBO valve covers painted black from the factory? I see a lot of them that have black paint chipping off. I have also seen some that are raw aluminum color, never been painted.
  19. Ive seen those before. Ive seen ones that say nissan 2000 on them too. I think those were used on the old Skyline engines.
  20. My valve cover doesnt say 2400 on it. Only nissan ohc.
  21. OOH OOH there is a NISSAN block valve cover on ebay RIGHT NOW for 180 dollars. Doesnt seem like a bad price AT ALL but im dead broke. Otherwise id buy it. Its buy it now for 180. Check it out. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/datsun-nissan-big-letter-nissan-valve-cover-240z-280z_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33627QQihZ005QQitemZ150197343091QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
  22. Which valve cover usually brings more money when restored and painted nicely. The regular nissan ohc one or the TURBO one.
  23. Im pretty sure they are a darker gray color
  24. That is a fantastic starting point. That z has tons of potential! Im anxious to see where it will go!
  25. Depends on what you are looking for. Try http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/WWC001 for a start. Wheels for zx's are almost always on www.ebay.com. You can check www.craigslist.org. There are tons of places to find wheels for z's. Try searching the boards to find more info on wheels and where to buy them, that always helps.
