hmm I would like to read car&driver article. but thanks for the input Andy Im really trying to decide upon adaily driver because I need a car right now and I cannot drive 260z nor do I want to. My father is a huge toyota fan and I really dont wanna give up the corolla on him, but it does not hold found memories..

well if you all didnt know I had gotten into an accident intht begining of april with the corolla it was not totaled but it needs much work on the passenger fender area right now I have the choice of repairing the corolla or getting another car my dad has spotted two 80s 300zxs an, 85 and 86 both in good condition the white is very basic no t-tops or 5spd or spoiler it only has 78,000 miles the grey one which is an 86 I believe isgoing for $1400 and has the t-tops spoiler 5spd with 140,000mile and needs paint job but is in good condition. My question is should I just fix the corolla or try the 300zx. is the 300zx a good car ? - would like the members of the forums opinions. Thanks in advance.

Speaking of which I saw a datsun 1600 driving along side of me and my mother last week it was red and in fair condition yet it was drivable and it was not smoking. It was a nice car I could'nt tell what it was at first, but I knew it had to be a datsun. I looked up the 1600 emblem on the car and found out it was most likely a 1971 dasun 1600; good stuff.

Nice BMW glad you decided to keep the Z also I love the job they did with the rear bumpers on your 280 it looks great! As smooth as a baby's bottom. Sneaking in pics of the Z with the BMW priceless. But now you have a car that you can relax in and spank ricers in luxary. And you still have the Z in which you can make ricers drool because of its history and spank them in the process so its all good in my book.

Yea, I would scooped that up if I could. Just like this red 240sx for sale in VA that I saw on ebay it was very clean with a lotta miles but it had a buy it now of only $1800. Great daily driver candidates

Whats with the side air vents arent they suppose to say 240z written out and not just the plain "Z" in a circle? I thought the early 240z's had them.

OH gawd wow. I hope no one actualy buys this and especially at that price, use it as a parts car. Makes me wanna cry....

Well its official the Z has become a permanent project now that I have a daily driver. Something to drive while working on the 260z.
