  1. I just got a 74 260Z and she is at my house in PHX Az right now........It's been sitting in a south west Texas Garage since 1996.It has a almost 100% rust free body and complete original interior with Factory or dealer option A/C, wheels and rear window louvers. Still holding the original paint. I need to go through the fuel system, brake system and clutch just to make her run and drive again. I am really happy that I found such a rare early low Vin # 260Z.I just love the 240Z look with the 280Z controls.
  2. Hi everyone! My name is Mike Clifford, and my father and I run Michael's Vintage Racing. We work on mostly British cars at our shop, but Z-cars have always caught my attention at the track and I've kept one eye open in case something appeared at the right time. Luckily, that time has come! This is all new ground for me, but I've already got a list of things I'm excited to do to the car I've been reading up the past few days on Zs to familiarize myself, and I want to absorb as much information as I can ASAP. I've been reading about: Basic information Weak spots with race cars Differences between 240/260/280 cars If there's anywhere else I should definitely go, I'm looking forward to it!
  3. Yeah, I read the section and tried what it said. The adjustment nut wasn't doing anything, so I tore down the BCDD and put on another one from my spare parts bin, as well as cleaned the snot out of the throttle body. That fixed that problem. I'm still having the miss at idle but I've got an appointment tomorrow at a local Z specialist (McKinney Motorsports in temecula, anyone have experience with them?) so hopefully they know what's up.
  4. Nice work. You may have answered this but i'm curious what your plan is. You're keeping the injection, right? Are you regulating on the return or supply side? I think you are doing nice work but I'm a little concerned about the hose clamped connection for a high pressure (FI) application. Hope I'm not coming across as critical. You have done a great job and I'm dying to see the finished product. Another suggestion as long as I'm being a pest... and a g-sensing fuel cutoff. safety first!
  5. I've sent the info out to the Edmonton Z Club guys Jim...
