Here is my favorite picture of this LY engine. Yes you are right, those are 50mm Solex carbs. I got a chance to talk with Mr. Akamatsu and the engine is a 2.9 ltr. There is a lot of history behind this engine. I was so intrigued. When Kats recoups from Jet-lag maybe he can tell the story.
