What size bolt?

Featured Replies

Ok, here is a question for all of you Z-Sperts. What size bolt do I need to attach the rear bumper bracket to the body of the car. The thread is on the body. Been trying to replace the bolts on my 70Z but cant seem to figure out size. Any help would be appreciated.

1.25 is the thread pitch. I don't know whether that is coarse or fine, but the hardware shop should kmow what 1.25 thread is.

It's a fine thread and typical for many bolts on the Z. Make sure to tap out that paint before you cram the bumper bolt into it! :classic:
