Door panel removal tools

Featured Replies

That should be fine for the panel removal. Removing handle is the trick. Rotate the door handle until you see the back side of the pin and push it out with a pic of your choice where you don’t rip the vinyl. I place quite a bit of tape around the handle itself so you don’t damage the panel. If your interested I can send you a pic of the tool that doesn’t work that was made for older domestic cars.

Thank you Sir. I went ahead a bought them after doing some reading from 2003 and 2009. Same exact tools were suggested a few times. Bought 25lbs of walnut shell media for my sandblast cabinet. Going to try it for the first time on aluminum, I've used "glass" bead before with good luck but damn that stuff has gone way up in price locally.

Let us know how it works with before and after pics!!😂

I've found removing the window crank clip with a shop rag to be quite easy. Simply slide a rag between the door panel and the crank down to the spline and pull on one end of the rag, making a 360-degree turn around the spline. The rag catches one end of the clip, pops it out, and the rag usually captures the clip.
