After reading some horror reviews about this vendor I thought I'd post here - any vendor links elsewhere are greatly appreciated!

Not sure that’s appropriate to the vendor for not stating the issues involved. IMO

I probably could have elaborated on the accusation but a quick google search yielded so many negative hits I assumed this was a foregone conclusion. On the other hand in the same amount of time it took you to post this, you could have searched it too...

Besides the attempt to stir up some stuff, what are you looking for? New vendors for the same manufacturer? Or new vendors for front air dams? "vendor links elsewhere" - what does that mean>

Your post kind of looks like it's trolling for controversy. Would help to clarify.

I've been a member on this forum for 20 years now without controversy (to my knowledge). Why would I be looking to stir up stuff? The post was purely in the hopes that someone knew of another producer, preferably stateside, who also made the same item. The only vendor I could find with this particular part has has an iffy history. I don't think I'm going out on a limb when stating that. I've noticed over the years, especially the fiberglass world, there are often parts shared across multiple vendors.

So you are looking for an airdam?

I was pointing out that the post was unclear. To get more pedantic, a vendor is the seller of a product, not necessarily the manufacturer. So are you looking for the same product sold by someone else? Or a different product? Were the horror stories about the product or the seller or both?

In this case it looks like the vendor/seller and the manufacturer are the same company. You must be looking for alternative sources for an airdam.

"RS carbon is proud to bring our FRONT AIRDAM FOR THE 280ZX."

Sorry, I'm just looking at the words. Good luck.

I probably could have been more specific, but the the link on the first post was for the airdam, correct.

I was using "vendor & manufacturer" interchangeably as typically in this realm they are one of the same, barring rare examples. And yes, alternate source is preferred for this same item.

Again, please google the company name with "legit", etc. I could also start posting links to other forum threads but I was led to believe this was a no-no.
