Not much going on here, as far as the 280Z is concerned. I did finally break down & order a set of Rota TBT 15x8 (zero offset, 4x114.3, 73 hub) in Bronze. I had these on my X1/9, and loved them. I think they will look great on the Z. Still going to use 205/50x15's, will have a slight stretch. I'll figure if I need spacers once they are here, can't find any references for them on a 240/260/280.

Wheels arrived, they are pretty.

Warm enough to get the Z out

Added a Schrader TPMS to the new wheels

Solar powered head unit will sit nicely on the metal filler

Hopefully get the wheels on tomorrow

I think the bronze looks good with the green.

TPMS head unit was easy to set up also

I went through an automated car wash today- now I know why the 78s have that extra seal on the door frame 😆

Forgot to add a pic of the TPMS screen - hadn't adjusted tire pressures after mounting here

At some point, someone on here recommended the rigid ball & cup setup for the caster rods (can't recall what Nissan/Datsun called them 0 tension rods maybe)

I finally got around to installing them, and then realized it doesn't replace the rear bushing, which is the one that cracks within a short period of time. I've only put a few hundred miles on my Z in the past couple years, and I have replaced those bushings twice(!)

Thank you for this post, I am also trying to identify relays and the beginning of this post helped a lot. You mentioned a wiper post, but I cant seem to find it, can you link it?
